Episode 9

The new positive discipline policy is put into place at Grange Hill. Josh and his parents discuss Joshs' Barmitzva, and who he should invite , Josh has a couple of 'babes' in mind. Anika is given two black marks in her record book for bunking off school with Amy, part of the new positive discipline program. Mr Deverill speaks to Maddie about her untidy appearance , she tries to explain that her mum didn't wash her stuff , she didn;t come last night. Deverill doesn't listen and gives her a black mark. Josh hands out the invites for his barmitzva, he gives one to Martin and one to Kathy. Mr Robson pays a visit to Grange Hill to see how things are going. Mr Deverill assures him that the new discipline program is making a difference. Miss Fraser annouces the wedding date , Mrs Holmes isn't happy.Miss Carver finds Crackers essay, Mr Deverill doesn't know where it came from . Miss Carver goes to find Cracker. Ian is given a letter from Mr Deverill to give to his dad about the graffiti. Ian talks to Dai to plead his case, saying that it would affect his Army scholarship. Dai agrees to speak to Deverill .Cracker tells Miss Carver that he is leaving Grange Hill for a job at the club.Deverill tells Mr Robson that Margret isn't coping and tells Mr Robson not to come back until he's better . Martin and Kathy hunt through the website for the identity of the person who put up the message about Mrs Holmes , Anika ask to be told first , before Deverill. Tom gives Leah some advice to be herself . Kathy goes to lunch leaving Martin alone at the computer, he finds something out. During science, Josh talks about his Barmitzva and how he is turning from a boy into a man , Maddie steps in and says how he so small and hasn't started shaving yet , she says' some man he is going to be' Josh feels put down and feels hurt. Deverill brings Ian's dad to school , his dad takes Deverills side. Vikki tells Mr Hanking about Ozzie being back , but he wants to put it all behind him. Margret is feeling more depressed. Martin knows the identity , but doesn't want to get anyone in trouble, Deverill can't wait and finds out that it was Anika, she denies it. Maddies Mum takes her to the club to meet Chris. Vikki and Briony go to the club. Maddie and her mum get to the club , she tells Maddie she has lost her job at the office , but Chris gave her a job at the club. Maddie isn't happy.Maddie takes some of her mums vodka, Chris sees her take it. Tom and Matt go to see Lisa. Tom and Matt convince Lisa to go with them to get some milk , but she can't get past the front door , she is too terrified. Chris gives Ozzie a challenge , to get Vikki away from Danny .
