The day of Josh's Barmitzvah has arrived, everyone is excited , except Josh ! . The Saturday homework club starts, with Ian , Leah, Shannon and Martin attending , though Maddie is still half asleep.Deverill strats picking on Ian straight away , saying that Ian will not make anything of his life.Vikki awakes in her bed still wearing the dress she wore the night before , she starts to remember what happened at the club, how she and Ozzie ended up kissing. Briony goes to the club after telling Matt she was staying in . He goes to the club and catches her out , He tells her to stop messing him around.Amy and her Mum head off to meet Chaz. Ian pushes Deverill too far . Deverill bans Ian from the football team . Josh is scared of being different after the Barmitzvah , being more Jewish. He still has the hate mail in his pocket.Josh tells his parents that the Barmitzvah is off, he doesn't want to be different, Kathy goes to talk to him. Maddie is feeling sick in homework club . Ian and Martin takes her to the girls toilet. Kathy tells Josh he should be proud thathe's different ,it makes him special. Maddie tells the homework club how unhappy she is at home and at school. Amy and her mum finally meet Chaz, Amy finds out that he isn't her Dad, then her mum collapses to the floor. Shannon tries to befriend Leah , but Leah doesn't believe she has changed. Maddie tells Martin that Josh doesn't hate him. Martin arrives in time for the Bramitzvah.
