Denial
[ Work in progess ]
I've found that denial is a big problem for me:
- denial of assets: ignoring skills and tools which can
be used to acheive goals
- denial of opportunity: ignoring people, institutions,
and invitations to demonstrate which can be used to acheive goals
- denial of self-importance: feeling that I do not
matter, my feelings are weak or unimportant, that I am neutral
- denial of urgency: feeling that I can act "as
usual" and yet acheive something unusual which has an externally set
time limit on it
- denial of prosperity: professing to be poor. I have
refined this into an observation that my liquid assets are slender... and
thus concluded that my finacial intelligence ior fund-generating activities
need to be raised
- denial of vision: pretending that I wish to conform,
rather than following my true ambition.
- denial of life: acting robotic rather than human,
processing information rather than interacting with information
The counter to this, is assertion. However, blind
anti-assertions will not solve the root problem of dyadic denial / unreality
addiction, but, rather, will counter the superficial symptoms while the root
actually digs deeper, being feed now my sugar-coated denials in the form of
anti-denials.
E.g. "I am not poor" (negated denial) does not
make you rich. However, "I have the ability to write" (observation)
may hint at a possible solution (e.g. job as a clerk, profession as a writer,
business as an oracle).
The solution, however, is a more expansive process of
observation, analysing, interaction, prophecy, confession, and profess-ion.
- embrace life: "Lose yourself in the [moment...]
Do not lose you chance to flow" - Psalm of M.M. Be multitalented and
creatively flowing, not monostatic (societal robot)
- embody self-vision: see "Don't Let
Anybody steal your deam", by Dexter Yager / Douglas Wead; the Borg
chant; etc.

Emotions
Emotions are really whole-body thoughts. They cause
changes throught the whole body, and vice versa. Thoughts which do not manifest
through bodily changes are known as "intellectual", or,
"abstract" thoughts.
Emotional Control
Over the past few months, I've found a lot of
information about personal power and emotional control. Here, I attempt to at
least link to some important ones... and eventually add my own two cents.
Linkage
- Unreality Addiction
- Emotional Control
- Overcoming helplessness
- Limerance
- Coercion
- Persona Levels
