Why you are poor

"The Lack of Money Effects Desolation."

"...his group plans to begin a poor people’s peace movement similar to the one [Martin Luther] King was organizing before his murder in 1968." [1]

Zero-Sum

Imagine if you went outside, picked two apples from a public tree, and came into a room with about 20 other people. Then you gave one apple away, and ate the other.

Under zero-sum, you "have" -2 apples. The tree doesn't exist. The people who you gave them to, exist as a nebulous body known as the "consumer base". You, as an eater of apples, belong to this base.

This perspective is also called Dyadic Denial.

It is the basis of physical war, which assumes that the soldiers dying on both sides are seperate and distinct from the civilians who they have been brainwashed to believe that they are protection. In actuality, it is the interests of the terrocrats which they are protecting!

Double Entry

Double entry avoids negativity by using debit (Asset) and credit {Capital +profit , Liability} parallel dimensions. Now, you had 2 apples as Capital, then incurred a net loss of 2 apples, to reduce net capital to zero.

The tree is now an investor in you. The people whole you gave the apple to are now the "customer base". However, they paid nothing for the apple, so you made a loss on the transaction. The apple you ate was a "drawing", i.e. an owner taking a piece of the capital pie for hirself.

Triad method

The triad method accounts for the tree as the "they", the other people as "you", and yourself as "I":

  Self  I YOU THEY

The tree.. See, -desire     Many apples
picking 2 apples Take, +happy 2 apples   Many apples less 2
giving away one  + happiness -1 apple,  +1 apple
one given away + happiness 1 apple  1 apple +happy
one eaten Eat, +satisfaction -1 apple 1 apple +happy
none left +happy +satisfied 0 apples 1 apple +happy
      ?
close circle Water tree, perhaps     Many apples, +water

Scarcity Myth

"the money being spent on bombs [...] could never be spent on addressing poverty" [1]

It is true that money can only be spent once. This is analogous to the apples which can only be eaten once.

However, money which is invested, (or shared with profit-making entities), multiplies itself in value. One example of this is education: an educated person can [2] generate more profit, by nature of hir having more abilities at his immediate command. Thus, education is a good, medium-term investment.

Geeks [3] and NLPers have the ability to turn education from a medium-term exercise requiring the constant input of a teacher, into a micro-term exercise involving periods of intense focus, time-warping, and grok-ing. These processes (which geeks undergo instinctively) are called larvae stages within the Jargon File, and (effectively similar, but intentional) processes of self-hypnotism and neuro-lingusitic parsing, taught at high financial cost, by those who practice the neo-science.

[2] Note that I say "can", not "will". Education reguards proper money management techniques, and how to make money work for you, is very rare in proportion to the number of persons who could benefit from such. See richdad.com for an example of such education.
