What Ben's Handwriting Says About Him:

A's- Ben is strong and self-reliant.  He listens to criticism, but doesn't give in to bullying. ( Unless it's Kelly lifting up his shirt and telling him to bend over so that we see once and for all that he
has no butt.)

D's- (Okay, this is not like Ben at all.  This is the anti-Ben.)  Ben has a short fuse and gets angry easily.  He needs to be more laid back and tolerant.  A lot of his outward personality is just for show.  He's really insecure inside and compensates for that by pushing others around.  Yeah, we're all really scared of Ben.

E's- Ben likes to laugh.  He's pretty upbeat.  He's fun to have around because he makes good conversation and has a nice butt.  (Nonexistant, they're nice like that.)

F's- Ben is uncomplicated and very direct.  He expresses his opinions easily and makes friends through common interests.  You always know where you stand with him.

G's- He deals with problems as they occur.  He doesn't hold grudges or let anger build up inside of him.  Kind of refreshing, isn't it?

H's- The small hoops on his H's show that he isn't very content with life and doesn't have much faith in humanity.

I's- Since Ben doesn't dot his lower case I's, he is either very scatter-brained, or was attacked by a bunch of dotted I's as a child and has a lot of underlying psychological issues to deal with.  His upper case I's, on the other hand, suggest a clarity of thought.  He feels strongly enough about his decisions to defend them and doesn't rely on help from others unless he has to.

N's- Ben appears strong, but is really insecure on the inside and would crumble if his weaknesses were shown.  He can't take rejection at all and is demanding when dealing with others.

O's- Ben's O's show that he is not very generous.  He equates giving with losing, so he just kind of avoids it all together.  He's really distrusting and outright mean sometimes.

R's- book quote:  "Two possibilities:  either a brilliant improviser who gobbles up any problem you can throw at him and spits out an impressive result, or a bit of a loose cannon who acts impulsively.  Either way, the writer breezes through trouble, making quick decisions based on changing conditions."

S's- Ben's easygoing and open.  He doesn't act too rashly, and, um, he's a really nice guy.

U's- Ben likes variety and is a really social guy.  He likes being in crowds better than being alone and is a bit of a party animal.

W's- Ben is enthusiastic about anything and everything.  He has a tendency to not be very sensible because he spends too much effort looking for the fun in everything.

Just in case you lie around your house all day thinking, "Gee, I wonder what the words to 'Ben' by Michael Jackson are, I have them here just for you.  (Coincidentally, Ben's middle name is Micheal and this song was released about the time he was born.  But I'm not suggesting anything
.)

Ben, the two of us need look no more
We both found what we were looking for
With a friend to call my own
I'll never be alone
And you, my friend will see
You've got a friend in me
(You've got a friend in me)

Ben, you're always running here and there
(Here and there)
You think you're not wanted anywhere (anywhere)
If you ever look behind
And don't like what you find
There's something you should know
You've got a place to go
(You've got a place to go)

I used to say "I" and "me"
Now it's "us," now it's "we"
(I used to say "I" and "me"
Now it's "us," now it's "we")

Ben, most people would turn you away
(Turn you away)
I don't listen to a word they say
(A word they say)
They don't see you like I do
I wish they would try to
I'm sure they'd think again
If they had a friend like Ben
(A friend)
Like Ben
(Like Ben)
Like Ben

Kind of touching until you find out that it's about a cartoon mouse, isn
't it?

Since Ben is apparently a big fan of blue, that means he's thoughtful, caring and mellow.  (At least that sounds like him.)  He's really dependable and cautious and patient and only gets into an argument with you if you don't know what a rhetorrical question is.  (It's a question that isn't intended to be answered.)

Benjamin is Hebrew for
fortunate and strong.  If he was Italian, (which he probably is since one of his last names is Demarco,) his name would be Beniamino and if he was Basque, his name would be Benkamin.  Lots of you know the story of Joseph and the coat of many colors from Genesis, and the names of the twelve Hebrew tribes in the Bible come from Joseph and his family.  Joseph's youngest brother (who was not a part of the plot to sell Joseph into slavery) was named Benjamin, so Ben's like the itty bitty baby Hebrew tribe.  Some words that rhyme with Ben are Glen, Gwen, hen, Ken, men, pen, ten, then, when, wren, yen, zen, again, amen, Ardennes, Cayenne, Cheyenne, chosen, Karen, peahen, pigpen, five-and-ten, jullienne, Sun Yat-sen, carnicogen, comedienne, and equestrienne.
