Darren Blade always grew up with a silver spoon in his mouth. The man had everything handed to him and barely worked to achieve anything else. He's arrogant, self-centred and very egotistical. The only moment that ever changed his life, was losing. He was never always a wrestler, and losing his first fight ever prompted him to first wash the blood from his face, and secondly achieve glory in all forms. His family hired the best trainers, the best of everything that money could buy in order to teach Blade the basics, the expert maneuvres and even the finest parts of wrestling. Instead of choosing the more sensible route, he chose to do moves that would show off his physique and his unnatural quickness in the ring. Never would Blade lose again, especially to small childhool bullies.
He's wrestled in leagues here and there, always gaining the status of someone who, while arrogant in nature, is regarded as smart. Smart enough to take a win through cheating, bribing or otherwise sheer skill. Blade did and will do everything in the world to humiliate and embarress his opponents. He has the money and through that he has the small bunch of power that it takes to put on a small commercial production, host a fake talk show, or just use his intelligence to make sure his opponent is completely and utterly humiliated. It gives him the edge that he needs to win, because according to his self-taught psyche, he believes his opponent will never remain within the right frame of mind if his own fans have had a laugh at his expense.
Blade spares nobody and while he may appear to be weak on the outside, maneuvring his way out of title defenses, or refusing matchups, it's only because he's doing what any heel would do in this situation -- making a ruse with which to gain the upper hand.
Appearance: Being a rather snotty, arrogant and completely holier-than-thou man, Blade keeps everything about him rich and meticulous. Afterall, he's rich and he's upper class. He's done all forms of dress, but whenever he comes to the ring, there is definitely a perfection about him that makes him walk the way he talks. Firstly, his thick strands of hair, reaching to his shoulders are cut in a way so that they will never interfere upon his vision or his face. Jaw-length around his face, brown all around and longer in the back, Blade always shows his sparkling, pearly teeth in a haughty grin. He is perfectly neat, shaven, with blue eyes a small nose and an angular, curving face.
Wrapped around only his left arm is a thin, black elbow pad that extends from his upper forearm to the middle of his lower bicep. His hands are tapped in white tap to the middle of his wrists. Wrestling tights extend down his legs, underneath a pair of black knee pads, and underneath a pair of wrestling boots that match too well with the kneepads, extending all the way up his calf covering his entire lower leg also hiding the laces with hardly noticable shin guards. His pants could be any colour, in any form... from an exotic hawaiian colour scheme to the zig zagging of green lightning on black. Almost always though, climbing up his leg there is the words of his last name 'BLADE'.
