North Fairview · 6’5” · 250 pounds · from Sacramento, California · Handler: Butch Mapa

Miles Fairview was a blue-collar worker in 1960's USA. Possessing the desire to achieve fame and fortune, he tried to establish a career as a professional wrestler. Unfortunately, his talents didn't match his ambition, and his career never got off.

He soon found himself bouncing around between jobs. His big break came in the late 80's, when he was hired to be the bodyguard of Roberto Goizueta, then a rising corporate star in Coca-Cola Co. Earning the trust and friendship of his employer, Miles amassed a sizeable fortune of his own in company stocks. Upon Goizueta's death in 1997, Miles retired, and began to live in luxury.

In this background was born David North Fairview. Blessed with his father's natural drive and his mother's good looks and intelligence, David experienced successes one after another throughout his life. He initially wanted to become a corporate raider like his father's employer, and enrolled at an Ivy League school, where his grades showed that he clearly had the potential. However, something unexpected happened along the way.

David had always shown athletic inclinations in the past, but had never pursued it. But while in college, he gradually drifted towards various team and individual sports. One of these was amateur wrestling. He tried out, and surprisingly made, the varsity team. He won the NCAA Regionals, and had a good showing at the Nationals. This led to being chosen as a reserve for the US National Team for the 2000 Sydney Olympics (Unfortunately, he didn't compete). His father was delighted with his son's acumen, and pushed him to excel. Miles saw himself in David, and thought that his son could do what he had been unable to: become a pro wrestler.

After graduating at the top of his class, David enrolled in the Keening School of Grappling Arts, where he also achieved top honors before a dispute caused the young man to be dismissed from the esteemed school. Apparently, David had developed a bit of an arrogance to him, which caused some friction between him his classmates and professors. David decided to turn pro, even without finishing his course.

The future looks bright for this young, confident stallion. Pacific Coast Wrestling is his first stop in a hopefully long and distinguished wrestling career. He chose to use his second name, North, as his wrestling screen name. North Fairview is basically an updated version of "Million Dollar Man" Ted diBiase, with a harder, modern edge. He's rich, cocky, and a bit of a jerk. But he can back it all up. Although lacking in pro experience, his technical prowess is well-documented, what whith his extensive college and national amateur background. He self-styled "Future of Man" is hoping to make an impact in the PCW.
