An interview with Jacob Jordan
Sometimes when push comes to shove, a man just has to take a stand and go with his gut feeling. At least, that's how Jacob Jordan is looking at life lately.
I had the chance to talk to Jordan recently about his recent departure from IWF-WOW and his impending arrival in PCW. Here's what he had to say about Brian Nelson, Super Scott, Jim Russ, Eric Travers, backstage politics, standing up for himself and life in general.
Jacob, nice to see you here and by the way thanks for taking this time to sit down with PCW.
No problem at all, Eugene.
I am guessing you are happy to be here. Would I be right?
Sure. So far, looks pretty damn good to me. At least no mistakes so far. [Laughs]
What do you think of the roster here in PCW?
Well, what can you say about it? Look at it its got some of the best talent Brian Nelson let out of his sight cause he was too blind to see thir true talent. Then you have people that have already become legends here trying for the second time around again. At least Super Scott and Eric Travers aren't here.
Speaking of Super Scott and Eric Travers care to explain what exactly went on at IWF/WOW to bring you to the doorway of PCW?
Sure. Simply put, Brian Nelson doesn't know his ass from first base!
I am not following you, Jacob ...
Basically, to make a long story short, I was unhappy with the politics that have taken over IWF/WOW. It's nothing like it was when I first approached Chris Jurkschat about joining. Him and me agreed to a deal where I would debut that next week but then he gave ownership to that idiot Brian Nelson who completely put my debut on the back burner for a month.
So, he did not agree with Chris's decision?
Absolutely not. My deal was not signed with IWF/WOW until after I was about to sign a WLW contract and then he finally agreed. Well, time passed on and on with nothing changing but yet getting worse with him starting to back up people like Nate McMannis, Maverick, and Trevor Storm just for ratings. He sent them out there to do a dirty job to get ratings. That's just not how it's done!
Interesting. So, did you see Jim Russ's interview posted earlier this afternoon before this interview?
Who?
Jim Russ, our once and future dark match announcer.
Oh, my mistake -- thought you said someone else. Well, to tell you the truth, I don't pay a lick of attention to Russ or his comments.
So, do you plan for shooting right to the top or are you targeting something different?
I am not sure I am here to have fun this time and that's what I am going to do. If I so happen to win the battle royal, then so be it. And if I don't then ... guess what, I don't. I am going with what they give me and I will run with it.
Is there anyone out there you want to send a message to?
Super Scott, you know you used me, abused me and then threw me to the wolves and as the saying goes WHAT GOES AROUND..... COMES AROUND! Remember that!
And with this all said and done, we'll end this. Thanks, Jacob a lot I enjoyed it.
Anytime. I had a great time doing this.
