Half of Boys Next Door
Garrett Jax was the All American boy, clean cut, athletic, intelligent and destined for greatness. However he threw it all away (according to most) to become a rodeo star, mainly as a steer wrestler. His career took a sudden change one night when he and friend and future tag partner Sammy Griffin were involved in a bar fight.
After the fight, the two were convinced to give wrestling a try, where upon they entered the IWF/WOW. Two months later, The Boys Next Door, were IWF/WOW Tag Team Champions. Their reign lasted six months before they split and attempted solo careers. After small success, they were convinced to rejoin the tag circuit by Brian Nelson. Nelson also felt the "Boys" needed more time in ring together to sharpen their collective skills, since both have less then a full year on their resume'. To accomplish this, Nelson decided to send the BND "down" for more work.
Appearance: A clean-shaven baby face, Jax sports a large full-toothed grin, slightly crooked nose, and laughing dark brown eyes. Bullfrog wears crisp blue jeans, white rattlesnake skin cowboy boots, and a dark purple wrangler shirt. The shirt is opened to show a hairless well-muscled chest. The sleeves are rolled up to the elbows, showing strong tanned forearms. Above the left pocket, "BULLFROG" is embroidered in white letters. A black Stetson cowboy hat covers a head covered with short brown curly hair.
