Kyoshi · 6’0” · 247 pounds · from Osaka, Japan · Handler: Ameet Nagpal

Kyoshi's history is VERY clouded. All we know about him is that he is an extremely skilled martial artist, very disciplined in the arts of Jujitsu and Kung Fu, and that he is a devout Buddhist. In fact, his finisher, "Dukkha", comes from the First Noble Truth of Buddhism, which is that "All life is dukkha," where dukkha is defined as "suffering". Kyoshi is a cold, callous individual, who has no concern for others, which is interesting considering that he is such a devout Buddhist. The only other thing we know about him is that he was discovered by talent scouts in I-Slash who were scouring FIRE PRO PURORESU while they were promoting their November 2002 PPV, November Pain: Legends of the Fall. He immediately caught the eye of the talent scouts and was the only talent brought back to America for the upstart PCW promotion.

Appearance: Kyoshi is a man who is a skilled martial artist. He has perfected the arts of Jujitsu and Kung Fu, so he is naturally in tremendous shape. He is an average looking Japanese man, with a shaved head. He has penetrating brown eyes. He comes to the ring wearing white martial artist pants and wears no boots in the ring.

Additionally, he wears a white torso-robe to cover his torso (obviously), but discards it before the match. A black belt is tied around the top of his pants. No wrist tape, no elbowpads, no kneepads. He also carries with him both outside of the ring and to the ring, a string of 108 beads, the Buddhist version of the rosary, known as the "mala". He is always seen rubbing each bead one by one, circling through the beads constantly.
