Steve Sampson · 6’3” · 232 pounds · from Yakima, Washington · Handler: Rick Boncek

One of the legends of the Grapplearium, Sampson got his start in 1996 here. After a few poor showings, Sampson got on track and became a wrestler of great reknown. He has held world championships, regional championships, and had epic matches against men such as Steve Spector, Gunnar "Grizzly" Gaines, and Matt Harris. At one point, he owned PCW, and was instrumental in taking it national, much to the consternation of some. Sampson, after taking time off to be with his family, has returned to the PCW fold following the death of Owen McDonald.
