Vincenzo Sandora · 6’1” · 237 pounds · from Little Italy, New York City · Handler: Justin Kaiser

Vincenzo Sandora was born in Brooklyn, New York on December 20th, 1970 to immigrant parents from Sicily; the youngest of five children. Sandora left school during the sixth grade after he was suspended by the principal for beating up his tutor. He then joined the Bridge Street Gang, a tough street gang of teenagers run by Johnny Torrio who would himself become a member of the Chicago Mob years later. The Bridge Street Gang was a part of the much larger (and less youthful) Five Points Gang where the famous Al Capone was once a member of.

Sandora was hired by Torrio as a bouncer at a seedy dive bar and brothel in Brooklyn. It was at this haven where Sandora met all his connections. He was soon on his way. Years later, he was given a top spot in "The Outfit," which was a notorious mob based out of Little Italy in New York City. There, he met James "The Don" Garibaldi who was a former professional wrestler. James saw something in Sandora, and began training him immediately. Soon thereafter, Garibaldi found a spot for Sandora in a long time friend's fed, Jim Catanzaro's River City Wrestling.

Vin's first feud was between him and Jason 'the Bandit' Blake, which culminated into a "retirement match" that Sandora won. Vincenzo then began a even more violent feud with former RCW National champion, Alex Extreme. That feud ended at RCW's supercard, Maximum Risk, which saw Extreme toss Sandora off a bridge. Sandora took a summer off from RCW with the bridge toss to evaluate his wrestling status. In October 2000, Sandora returned to the River City but never regained his old form before bowing out in early 2001. Vincenzo then left the wrestling business and worked on his other business ventures outside of the ring before finally returning in July 2002 to join Steve Mills and Christian Ledford's reincarnation of N.E.W.

Sometime in the late spring and early fall, N.E.W. disappeared and Sandora was once again looking for work ...

Appearance: When I picture Vincenzo Sandora, I picture a Ric Flair looking fellow with black hair instead of blonde. He looks and acts like the stereotypical italian mobster type. Black hair that is combed straight back, a darker skin complexion, and always seen wearing suits. His eyes tell a completely different story than his mouth does, showing that he's been through a lot in his life, which doesn't come up too often. When coming to the ring, Sandorawears a white silk robe with gold trim, along with Oswald Bates and Cynthia Garibaldi at his side. Once in the ring, Sandora will wear different colored tights with the letters "VS" in cursive on his tights, a la Ric Flair.

Cynthia 'Cyn' Garibaldi, valet
A beautiful, but deadly valet. Tall, thin, and dark make this woman highly irrestible. Always looking for trouble, Cyn isn't afraid to mix it up with the big boys. Likes to wear expensive, designer dresses that light up any match, despite who's wrestling in it. Announcers may sometimes loose track of what they're doing, and talk about her. Cyn hardly speaks, but when she does, EVERYONE listens.

“The Convict” Oswald “Ozzy” Bates, ring second

Vincenzo Sandora's official "right hand man" is a former convict, turned bodyguard, turned pro wrestler, turned bodyguard. Here's the story. Oswald Bates (6'6", 271 pounds), known to friends as 'Ozzy' is a former inmate at "Sing-Sing" in upstate New York, framed for murder. After some keen lawyers got him out of trouble (maybe conniving, instead of keen), he was released, he went back to his 'family.' The Garibaldi wrestling family is a very legendary and historic name, in the sport of wrestling. One thing was in store for Ozzy, and that was greatness! Soon after reaching the age of 20, Oswald began wrestling independent circuts until on his 21st birthday, he received a call from a new federation called the ACW. Oswald (and cousin Vic Garibaldi, whom he trained with) were promoted in ACW as the top draws. After many bloodbaths between the two, they decided to join forces in a new 'big time' promotion called AICW. It was in AICW where Ozzy and Vic created 'the Firm,' a highly successful stable consisting of himself, Vic, and Gino 'Knuckles' Valentini (a close family friend) and the Firm's official hitman, Alex Raptor (now know simply as RAPTORŠ). In AICW is where Ozzy met his now wife, Cynthia Garibaldi-Bates, who was his valet. Also in AICW, Oswald reached heights never dreamed of by his mentor 'the Don' James Garibaldi, capturing the AICW Television title, and holding onto it for nearly six months, before dropping the title and leaving the AICW, and wrestling for good.
