Dan “The Man” Watterson · 6’2” · 241 pounds · from Philadephia · Handler: I-Slash Brett

Born in Philadelphia to a broken home, Dan "The Man" Watterson was an established street tough by the time he hit his teens. He dropped out of school at 16 to concentrate on his gang, but a year later, after a murder by one of his gang members, he left the streets. He returned to school and graduated two years later at 19. He stayed in the city, going to Temple University on a full scholarship. He started wrestling around this time, not necessarily gaining a lot of success, but his ever so cocky demeanor was established. At 23 he graduated, and he trained for a wrestling career in New Jersey.

In 1996, when he took a trip to Toronto, no one would ever really comprehend the happenings. Chris Jurkschat, an enterprising Canadian, was starting an organization called the Internet Wrestling Federation (IWF). He joined on right before the organization officially kicked off on August 24, 1996. He veered around some stables, including the ever so infamous Devil Man's Hellraisers. He was a consistent member of the organization, eventually winning the IWF/WOW (Chad Ishikawa's World Organization of Wrestling merged with the IWF in February 1997) North American Title from Cooper Concrete on August 31, 1997. At the time he had been locked in a feud with future World champ Robert d'Artois, but in June they joined and formed The Aristocracy.

The group would eventually add another future World champ, the legendary Christopher Stonebreaker. However, Watterson's focus began to wander. He lost the North American Title to Jedah The Damned on October 13, 1997. d'Artois left Watterson to go with Pain Inc., while Stonebreaker offshooted and started the road to his World Title win in March 1998. Throughout the rest of 1997 and into 1998, Watterson would remain in the IWF/WOW, but he would ultimately lose every time out-his focus just wasn't there. By the summer of '98, he regained his composure, joining up with his old pal d'Artois, Vincent Bannister, Hades, and Shane Sanders in the Modern Apocalypse. However, their attempt to wrest the World Title away from Stonebreaker failed, and d'Artois was kicked out of the group. Watterson was also soon out, and by September 1998, he was gone from the IWF/WOW altogether.

He did not even return to e-wrestling until December 1999. By this time, there had been two owner changes in the IWF/WOW within several months. Chad Ishikawa was now heading up the show. To his credit, he knew what he saw in Watterson two years earlier, and subsequently signed him to a lucrative contract. When Watterson returned, the IWF/WOW was radically different, with new stars like Razor Ron Jeremy heading up the ranks. Watterson was on his A-game, and defeated Tommy "Lord" Lionheart for the U.S National Title on March 6, 2000. As previously requested, he exchanged that for his beloved North American Title, which had been retired the previous June. Alas, the reign would only take him to April 10, 2000 -- he lost it to John "Hellraiser" Grenchen.

Watterson went in seclusion for the next few months, but returned in June with his old friend, "Crazy" Brett Morgenheim. They teamed frequently as The Philadelphia Fighting Academy. However, there was little success to be found. Even a lucky number 20 draw for Watterson in the Indpendence Day Rumble that year wouldn't help. By November 2000, Watterson was once again out of the IWF/WOW. But he never REALLY goes away. The summer of 2001 was upon us, and Chris Jurkschat was back in control of the IWF/WOW. Watterson would make a good impact over that summer, eventually defeating two ex-world champions, The Idol and The Prophet, in one match at Summer Explosion VI. Alas, Watterson lost his focus during tussles with his old friend/advesary Shane Sanders, and would again be out of the organization before 2002 beckoned.

Watterson returned to the IWF/WOW in July 2002, with the fourth different owner, this being Brian Nelson, gaining control. However, Watterson again could find little, if none, success. Watterson has also won various other titles in other organizations, mostly in 1997. They included the Extreme Wrestling Federation Television Title, the Total Internet Wrestling Extreme and United Titles, and the Las Vegas Wrestling Association Las Vegas Title. He was instrumental in TIW and LVWA, joining the main antagnosists called the Rennaisance of Wrestling. He also was a member of the GWC/MPW during its inception last year.

He enters the PCW with one goal in mind--to take everybody and everything by storm.
