JIM ROSS: Welcome to the Superdome for tonights WMRF pay-per-view
Armageddon for Armbender.  We have a sold out attendance and the fans
know that there’s going to be lots of action in memory of the great man
Armbender.
JERRY “THE KING” LAWLER: Yes JR, we have the Royal Rumble to decide
the first owner of the Jeremy Shannon Memorial Trophy, quite an honor since
the Heavyweight Championship was retired after the tragic death of Shannon.
His in ring persona Armbender is still sorely missed here in the WMRF.
JIM ROSS: Yeh, we love ya still big guy.

The crowd goes wild as Crazy Canadian heads to the ring, flanked by
Partners of Pain, and carrying the Heavyweight Title which Armbender was
the last to hold.  He enters to the sound of Armbender’s old entrance theme
Testify by Rage Against the Machine.  He pauses at the top of the ramp and
waves the Canadian Flag, and the crowd cheer even louder.  He climbs into
the ring and grabs the mic from the ring announcer, and as he starts to speak
a huge picture of Jeremy “Armbender” Shannon appears on the video wall
and a hush falls over the arena.

“Armbender, the night you were taken from this world by a drunk driver was
one of the greatest tragedies of all time.  The blessing is that they say you
would have felt no pain.  I had the pleasure of mixing it up with you many
times in the ring and God knows you were a formidable opponent.  Tough but
fair, you always gave your best, and after it was all over, you’d shake my
hand and go home to that little boy of yours, the ever loving father and
mentor.  Tonight, we’ll all be giving it our best shot to win that memorial title in
your honor, and big fella, whoever wins the Rumble, this ones for you....”

Crazy Canadian kisses the Heavyweight Title belt and hands it to the ring
announcer and it is now officially retired from the federation.  The crowd are
on their feet and cheering again, waving signs and pictures of the great man,
and as Partners of Pain leave the ring, Firestarter appears from nowhere, and
nails Crazy from behind with a steel chair.  Groggy but still fighting he spins
around and connects with a hard punch to Firestarter’s chin before throwing
him over the top rope.

JR: Well seems the Rumble got off to an early start King, unpredictable just
as Armbender would have wanted it.

As the crowd count down the next few seconds, two minutes has passed and
Valhella makes her way to the ring.  As she enters the ring, Canadian
bombards her with a series of forearm smashes, and as she collapses into
the corner ringpost, two more minutes has passed and Devon Williams
comes to the ring.  He helps Crazy lift Valhella over the rope and eliminates
her before Crazy eliminates him just as Gina Lopez heads to the ring.  Gina
and Crazy fight it out blow for blow until Skull Diamond enters, and as Skull
and and Crazy Canadian double team Lopez, GTA member Spanners enters
the ring.  Spanners and Crazy lift up Skull over the top rope, followed by Gina
and finally GTA member Sprockets comes to the ring.  GTA double team
Crazy and Gina, eliminating Gina but Crazy still stays within the ring ropes.
Voodoo Warrior Mr X comes to the ring and eliminates both members of GTA
within seconds, and as his tag partner Pappa D appears, they both double
team Crazy until Mercedes Johnson makes an appearance.

KING: I don’t beleive this JR.  Crazy is staying in the ring like hes stuck with
glue.

Both Voodoo Warriors go to work on Mercedes, and easily throw her slim
form over the ring ropes.  As she hits the mat outside,  Dallas Jim appears
and the four men battle it out trading hit for hit until WMRF owner Xanadu
Williams heads to the ring.  The crowd go wild, and Xanadu throws out Pappa
D, then is holding her back in obvious pain.

JR: That back’s still troubling her.  She should retire for good King.
KING:  She’s putting up a good fight though JR.

She manages to rest awhile while Crazy Canadian pummels Dallas Jim to the
ground before throwing him over the rope and does likewise with Eddie “The
Stud” Phillips as soon as he hits ringside.  Xanadu makes a grab for Mr X but
he does something and sparks fly from the ringposts, and Xanadu flies over
the top rope, almost landing on Doom DuPont as he heads to the ring.  He
grins and ducks to one side, and as soon as he climbs into the ring, Mr X
throws him out again, but Mr X finds himself over the top courtesy of a
suprise attack by Crazy.   Crazy is alone in the ring for a good 1 and a half
minutes, pacing up and down, and playing to the crowd, until Sam Sicko
enters, closely folowed by Erazer.  The three men fight it out until King Kong
Bartholomew enters, and Bartholomew throws out all but Crazy, before
eliminating himself and heading back to the locker room.

KING:  Did you see that? The guys crazy!!

Googalick heads to the ring, shouting abuse at the crowd and continuing his
verbal attacks towards Mistress Demonica.  He takes the whole two minutes
to get to the ring as as he finally climbs through the ropes, Mistress
Demonica is hot on his tail.  She and Crazy double team him but he refuses
to be thrown out.  He works on Demonica’s arms, knowing they should still be
tender from the injuries, until Crazy throws him over the top rope.  Demonica
is favoring her left arm but she and Crazy battle it out for a good five minutes.
Eventually she is hauled over the top and the ring announcer announces that
Crazy Canadian is the first owner of the Jeremy Shannon Memorial Trophy.
He plays to the crowd and pyrotechnics fly all over the place.  The crowd
goes crazy and Canadian holds the trophy proudly aloft, knowing Jeremy
“Armbender” Shannon would approve.

JR:  I have a lump in my throat King.  This is such an emotional time.
KING: Yes thats true JR.  So long folks, see you at the next pay-per-view
which will be Midsummer Mayhem, on July 10th.
