JIM ROSS: Well King, this is the final match up of the evening, and will be for the WMRF Heavyweight Championship belt. JERRY “THE KING” LAWLER”: Crazy Canadian has been wanting a shot at Armbender for some time now, and theres no love lost between the two men at all. JIM ROSS: I wouldn’t like to predict a winner here on this one King, both men are in their prime and looking better than I’ve ever seen them. Look how good Canadian looks tonight. Here he comes! Crazy Train by Ozzy Osborne hits the speakers and red flares and strobes shoot towards the ring as Heavyweight Champion Crazy Canadian appears, led by a flag waving Crazy Stickman and the fans go wild as usual. He smiles and greets a few fans on the way to the ring and a woman fan in the crowd holds up a huge pink sign saying “Crazy Canadian I Love You” and he blows her a kiss before climbing into the ring. A womans voice softly says “This Shall Be Fatal” and the music changes to Rage Against Time as Armbender comes out, dressed in his black Gi/kamono. Around eighty per cent of the crowd cheer and stand, while the remaining twenty per cent boo and hiss. The several time Ultimate Fighting Champion enters the ring and referee Kris Kavanagh struggles to stop an early start to the match as Canadian begins to attack him. Kavanagh keeps them apart, signals to the time keeper to ring the bell, and the match is underway. Armbender gets in a few early shots to the head of Canadian, and a spinning heel kick to the left temple sends Crazy flying across the ring. Armbender clears the ring in one leap and lands on his feet outside the ring, runs round the outside and rolls back in, continuing his offence on Crazy. Crazy Canadian is dazed but struggles to his feet and hits Armbender with a clothesline, staggering him backwards but Armbender keeps his balance. Canadian runs across the ring and hits with the clothesline again and again, and Armbender keeps upright. At the third attempt, he raises his right hand and Crazy finds himself connecting with one of Armbenders powerful chops across the chest. Crazy drops backwards and as Armbender leaps on top of him punching at his face and head, Crazy brings his knees up, catching the martial artist with a low blow. He rolls off and back out of the ring signalling for time out. Crazy Canadian is having none of it and nails Armbender from behind with a steel chair. Armbenders bald head is laid open and he’s angry. Grabbing Crazy by the throat he pulls him across to the Spanish announce table, piledriving the Canadian through it and demolishing it completely. Then he takes a length of electric flex, winding it around Crazy’s throat and pulling it tight. Crazy struggles free and picks up a monitor, throwing it at Armbender, hitting him in the stomach and doubling him over in pain. Valhella runs out from the crowd and knocks Canadian unconscious with a piece of 2 by 4, and rolls Armbender on top of him, ready for the count. Referee Kris Kavanagh counts one two three and the match is seemingly over. JR: I can’t beleive she just did that - why is she helping Armbender? Those two are enemies. JL: Never underestimate the power of a woman JR. Wait, Armbenders taking the mic. “You dumb ass bitch - I could beat this jerk with my arms tied behind my back, and I do NOT need your stupid ass coming in here and interfering with my matches. I’ll deal with you later you bloodsucker! Referee, I refuse to take the victory this way and want this match to continue!” Kris Kavanagh signals for the match to carry on and again both competitors exchange blow for blow for some few minutes, slugging it out at the side of the ring, before Armbender climbs back up the steel steps to re enter the ring. Crazy Canadian grabs his arm and pulls him backwards, hitting his leg awkwardly on the steel steps. Seeing the chance of weakness, Crazy attacks Armbenders leg again and again, but Armbender refuses to give in to pain and struggles to his feet. Almost hopping into the ring and limping badly, he grabs Crazy by the hair and pulls him over the top rope, landing in a heap inside the ring. Armbender pins Crazy Stickman 1-2-3 and Kris Kavanagh raises his arm in victory, holding out the title belt to him. Armbender, satisfied that this time he gained the win single handedly, smiles and takes the WMRF Championship belt, hoists it onto his shoulder and heads back to the locker room. JL: Well JR, that was an interesting turn of events. I bet we haven’t seen the last of the Valhella Dracul/Armbender feud now after this. JR: I’d say not King, and things could get pretty nasty now. I just hope Val is back to 100% health and can handle it. JL: I’d say that .....creature!....can handle ANYTHING JR. And I guess we only have a few weeks to find out. JR: This has been Jim Ross and Jerry “The King” Lawler at WMRF Hardcore Holidays. The next Pay-Per-View will be Chaos in Canada on January 30th 2001. Happy Holidays everyone, and till next time, so long everybody. |
