Channel Guidlines
A place where survivors can come
together to share poetry, spend time with their friends,
share thoughts and be safe in their efforts to heal from
abuse. Every survivor has a voice that needs to be heard.
To protect channel
safety, we request that people who come into our channel, do not simultaneously be in an illegal
channel. An illegal channel is defined as any channel/s which
implies that sex is the main topic or included in the channel
name.
We request that people who have poems to be read in channel, please ask people in the channel first, before posting poems, if poems likely to trigger, for example if poem deals with abuse or sexual material.
The Channel Op reserves
the right to kick and/or ban members from #poets_corner if
they become disruptive.
If you are in need of
someone to talk to about an issue that may be triggering to
others please message someone you feel comfortable with and
take it out of open channel.
These channel rules are
set for all that come to the channel and with the following
thoughts in mind:
a. To create a safe
place to share poetry and spend time with friends.
b. To provide a harmonious place for
people with something in common to share their thoughts and
feelings.
c. To listen when someone needs to talk.
