Althea the Hitchhiking Bear            

We placed Althea on 8/7/01 at our Dancing Bears Cache.  On 8/11/01 Althea was picked up by cacher Walkin' Stick.  She traveled 2201 miles to Stop 1 the Clatskanie Fire Tower  (GC686).

Althea was at the Fire Tower Cache from 8/27/01 till 8/28/01 when she was picked up by MyGeo.  They traveled 146 miles to Nisqually River Cache (GC1E9D) and arrived on 10/12/01.

On 10/19/01 Sunsups gave her a lift to the $5.00 Scarlet Cache (GC9BF)just outside of Las Vegas.  They traveled 698 miles and arrived there on 11/01/01.

On 11/15/01 She got a ride from Julia and they traveled 2508 miles to get to the X700 (GC3BB) on 1/23/01.
