Fourth Buchanan Political Yard Sign Nearly Stolen from Front Yard of Forest Grauel.

"The Little Sign That COULD!!
Third Party Candidates Easily Locked Out by State Highway Administration Ordered "Political Sign Sweeps"

1.) Forest Grauel standing beside the little yard sign which the State Highway Administration tried to take down. Andrew Earp at SAPF called it,
"The Little Sign That Could!"

2.) After saying they were leaving, the State Highway Administration employee called in on his two-way radio and said he was told that since I had called the police and demanded he not leave that he would have to stay until the police came. Here with the Buchanan Campaign sign in the foreground ("The Little Sign That Could!"), the State Highway Administration Truck and Crew are held awaiting the arrival of the Montgomery County Police Dept. during an unusual glimpse with no traffic.

3.) Another view of the Truck and Crew being held for the arrival of the Montgomery County Police with normal traffic on Route 198. One of State Highway Administration's ridiculous defenses for removing what has been estimated as thousands of signs is their "concern for safety." Just how "safe" is it for a truck like this to park in the center turning lane and have a man dart across lanes of traffic to steal signs from the yards of citizens?

4.) State Highway Administration Truck with the two workers from the criminal justice system seemingly "hiding out" in the back seat of the big truck while the driver and Forest Grauel talk with police on far right.

5.) Close-up of Forest Grauel talking with Montgomery County Police officer Nickerson and the SHA driver talking with the second officer who seemed to be a superior of Officer Nickerson. Both officers refused, in the presence of a witness, to either file trespass charges, theft Charges, or even file an incident report saying they were not going to get involved in that. Officer Nickerson said that the call to 911 provided an electronic record which was sufficient, and the second officer concurred. Also in the foreground is a roofing company sign which was passed by on the way to take down my Buchanan sign.

6.) Close-up view of the Maryland State Highway Administration Truck with the two workers from the criminal justice system waiting in the truck. One can only imagine what is going through their minds. "Man, all I wanna do is do my time! What the Hell are we into now!"

7.) When the big Maryland State Highway Administration truck left from in front of our house, this is the first of two Democrat Leirman signs they "passed up" almost immediately before stopping to pull up what I feel was a Brian Saunders sign from Danny Thoms front yard. Brian Saunders is the U.S. Constitution Party candidate running against both Lierman and Morella,

8.) This is the second Leirman campaign sign which the Maryland SHA crew "passed by" on their way to tear down what is thought to have been a Brian Saunders sign. A State Highway Administration spokesperson claimed these signs were perhaps passed by because they were on the opposite side of the road from Grauel's. However the sign pulled from the yard in front of Danny Thom's house was on the same side of the road as these, and only a few hundred feet past these. These two Democrat Lierman signs were also far closer to the road than the Buchanan Campaign sign the Maryland State Highway Administration was thwarted from stealing from the front yard of the Grauel home.
