i can't get enough of the groovy ghoulies right now. they're like a drug. i've been wearing *fun in the dark* thin, i've had it on rotation so much. what's not to like about this record? it's got vampire girls, graveyards, funny stories, fast rhythms and so much more. my favorite track on this record is actually tied, i really dig the opening song carly simon (i had a thing for carly when i was young) and i find myself humming lonely planet boy at all hours of the day.

i'm getting geared up to see
the donnas this month so i've been listening to *american teenage rock n' roll machine* to fire myself up. personally i think this is the best donnas album out there and if you don't have it, you must go find a copy and listen to it all night long! this album is a great example of why you should just get up and start a garage band! or at least think you can :) rock n' roll machine will always hold a special place with me, it's an anthem for us kids at heart! but lately gimme my radio is really turning my crank. check it out!

it seems right now i'm rediscovering some of my best albums. i recently pulled out
velour 100's *of colour bright* and was blown away. i can't believe i had temporarly forgot about the brilliance of this album. trey many makes the most beautiful pop songs and gets some of the most beautiful female voices to accent them. tess wiley appears on this album and does a few tracks, and for anybody who knows me, i have an obsession with her voice. as well as tess, sydney from morella's forest lends her voice on a couple songs. and i truely believe nobody can resist her. she's so sugary sweet, you get a toothache :) haha. i definately recommend sky from underwater, and bittersweet.
