GRAVITY CAST: MICHAEL WINCHESTER
Name: Michael Winchester Issues, issues and MORE issues. His future allegedly looked bright; they used to say his life would have important meaning. As far as he’s concerned whoever “they” are should be shot for their damn lies. As the son of a Hollywood starlet, and the manager to Japan’s most successful pop act, Michael has never felt want for anything. This is reflected in his designer clothes and accessories, expensive haircut, and the high-priced psychiatrist he’s been seeing since his was six. It all began one frightful afternoon that ended with his parents casually strolling away from several destroyed buildings, as Michael clung to them in shock between them. It was the last straw in a series of catastrophic events no person, little lone a small child, should have to deal with. He suffered a break down. Judy was advised by her son’s school to send him to someone to talk through his problems. She sough the best, and found it in a Dr. Guranji, whom Michael has regularly seen since. Michael sincerely loves his parents. Rather than blame them, he prefers to blame himself. Currently, Setsuna Seguchi employs him as Snowflake’s manager; however, just recently he was dismissed as a policeman in Japan. Michael’s dream was always to follow in his father’s footsteps…or should I say, his dream was to make his father proud. However, he wasn’t cut out to be a cop. He was too soft, and incompetency blew a lot of important cases. There was no way he was going to climb the ranks and achieve a tenth of his father’s career. He knew it well – which is why when Tohma Seguchi made a call to his superior officers, leading to his immediate dismissal, he didn’t mourn the job loss…he just destroyed Tohma’s prized keyboard. Seeing as he failed abysmally following his father’s footsteps in law enforcement, he’s now embarking on his father’s second career path as a band manager. Though he has zero experience and no idea what the hell he’s doing, this hasn’t yet stopped Slacker from hiring the fool. With no clue how to effectively get gigs, Michael relies on other people’s help. This doesn’t go down well with Snowflake, especially since the gigs are always…CRAP. Michael has yet to learn to love and accept himself, and to follow
his own path, rather than meekly tread down his father’s.
