Saki has always felt exceptionally lucky. Her parents are fun, outgoing people who love her unfathomably, and something exciting is always happening in her life. As she got older, Saki looked around and realized she had to begin to forge her own identity. Searching for herself she joined various gangs; way-out cults; hippies; Neo-Nazis, motorcycle gangs, communists, green peace, rockers, ect. Between the pressures of school and her asinine activities Saki’s schedule was just too hectic. So she decided to give up trying to find herself and filled in her time with alcohol abuse and wild parties. Saki developed a reputation as a filthy slut, which she took to heart and was sincerely proud of.

Once high school ended, Saki’s drinking and partying was her life. A year later when she ended up in the intensive care unit for alcohol poisoning her parents sent her out of Japan, to the USA to get her act back together. However Saki just continued her routine in New York, drinking, partying and sleeping around until it all caught up with her and once again she wound up in intensive care. While in hospital she was treated by an amusing and kind nurse who sparked something inside of her. The nurse became her best friend and gave her a reason to enjoy life, rather than drink it away. Eventually they became lovers, and she moved in with her. Saki had peace and meaning to her life. That all changed one night when she was coaxed into a drinking binge and wound up sleeping with several people. When her lover found out, Saki was not only kicked out of the apartment, but also forced to go back to Japan!

Broken and disillusioned, Saki was advised by her father to begin her university studies. She quietly agreed, and chose to study history to remind herself to learn from her mistakes. Saki has continued to be an excessive drinker, however her wild partying days are behind her. She hasn’t embarked on a relationship since her last one, and the guilt of the one she hurt never leaves her.

Saki’s kinky and eccentric nature is hyperbolised whenever she is drunk. She takes on a new personality, one that is known as “Sake”; an uncontrollable sexual beast with one thing on its mind.

In the band Snowflake she is not only keyboardist, but also composer and arranger of the lyrics Ryuko writes. She liked the idea of the band because it sounded like it had the potential to be a lot of fun.
