A member of the order is required to make themselves available to recieve calls for help at all times. This means that you should not go quiet or deaf, nor afk when you are not in fact away from the keyboard. Members who have been found to be doing these things excessively, will be expelled from the order.

The church is to be a place of solace. If two clanners are discovered fighting within the church, we do have immortal permission to use a spell of calm, or a similar spell, to stop the fighting. It is illegal to do this anywhere outside of the church.

The Gray Church is a roleplaying environment. You are expected to behave in an appropriate fashion on ic public channels, and in your interactions with other characters on the DSL. However, it is important to note that sometimes it is neccesary to go out of character to help a complete newbie, as trying to explain things in character will confuse them. You have permission to go out of character to help newbies, but please do it in a private location or in tells.

The pursuit of riches and luxury is most certainly not a proper goal for a member of the order. Therefore, we do not charge for our services. This includes item retrieval, enchanting, spellups, tanking or anything else. The only exception is that you may sell an item if it is a particularly rare item or enchantment.

We remain unbiased politically with those we assist, and those we give charity, as well as those we speak out for. This means that we do not donate our money to a kingdom or clan apart from the Gray Church, and we do not refuse to help someone because of their affiliation, or even our own personal preference. Nor do we involve ourselves in the wars or other politics of the kingdoms and clans of the realm. We do not accept followers of Raije, as war is always politically motivated. We will not speak out against a kingdom, clan, or individual. We favor none above the other.
