Canadian Indian Movement

Membership
( An army of one !)
NOTICE !

THIS IS A MOVEMENT - NOT AN ORGANIZATION !!!!>

The Canadian Indian Movement, is just that ! "A MOVEMENT", not an organization, as such, there is no GRAND CHIEF and no MEMBERSHIP DUES, CARDS or REGISTRATIONS whatsoever !

Anyone can be part of the Canadian Indian Movement ! And anyone can make their own contribution to the struggle in their own way and at their own time of choice. This was what Leonard Peltier said about A.I.M. ( The same movement being waged by our U.S. brothers and sisters over the same issues ), but he said it  from his prison cell because to him, it was worth going to the next level !.

This page was put-up by Chief Gray Wolf ( Dr. John J. Williams ) who is simply the webmaster and this page is here only to help educate the people, and to help organize his vision of a nation-wide protest on the june 21st, Aboriginal day celebrations over  racism, discrimination and oppression of all indigenous peoples in Canada, be they labeled as  Metis, Inuit, or First Nations.

There will be other forms of non-violence civil disobedience headed by Gray Wolf after this protest because he led many in the past. There will also be other battles, headed by other leaders or indivuduals, over different issues, because, in the long run, this is the same struggle our people have faced since the first Europeans landed on our shores and stole our land, our resources and our identity, and we are not doing anything new or unique that has not already been, ir is currently being  done by indigenous peoples all over the world !

Our main emphesis is the "Day Of Shame" nationwide protest for the 2003 Aboriginal Day holiday. We are not selling anything whatsoever. We are not collecting any type of financial contributions for the movement, and we are not the one's in charge of this event, all we are doing is sharing what our group will be doing, making suggestions, and discussing strategies and options with anyone else who believes in the CIM/ AIM movement., the final descision must be done by each indivisual or their groups.

So ! If you are an aboriginal - join the movement and stand proud in your heritage because someday your grandchildren will ask " What did you do grampa ?
", and you better be ready to say " I did what I had to do  for you ! "
