| Yes, a strange box with hundreds of feet -- its the luggage. This magical box with the ability to ALWAYS get where its supposed to (well -- almost always, anyway) and to find its way anywhere, as well as being able to store things that appear to be larger than itself and contain various compartments to hold them, nonetheless. Not to mention its ability to launder dirty clothes. The luggage has belonged to both Twoflower and Rincewind (on separate occasions). For some reason, it is a feral trunk, attacking and mauling many victims over the course of the books, and the residents of Unseen University are particularly unfond of the luggage, trying their best (by running away, or even hanging by windowframes) to stay out of its way. | |
