Crested Butte Ski Trip 1999
View from inside our suite looking up at Crested Butte mountain peak. So many windows you could get a sunburn in there.
Would you believe our Penthouse suite was located over a saloon? Notice our private hot tub giving off steam.
On the slopes with a tee shirt and light jacket. Most days started with a temperature around 0 to 5 degrees and warmed up to a toasty 25 degrees around 3:00 P.M.. Bottomed out to -21 degrees one night.
United turbo-prop flight from Denver to Gunnison. About 30 miles from resort area. A little bumpy ride going over the mountains
View from opposite side of suite den area on upper left. Bedroom view is peak to right of den wrapped with snow.
Mount Crested Butte Peak - The top right side of mountain is for only the bravest of souls.
One of the most important things to know for survival.......which way to go down the mountain!
What a lift ride up the mountain! It takes about 15 minutes and 3500 feet in elevation. Makes your ears pop.
One of our favorite restaurants the "Avalanche" with Mount Crested Butte in background. (Gooooood Chilie)
Views going down the slopes - a beautiful sight
Found me a ski bunny.
