| On the 5th April 1994 Kurt Cobain the excellent lead singer, guitarest and the best song writer in the world barricaded himself in the granny flat behind his home, put a shotgun in his mouth and pulled the trigger. The day before Kurt's body was found Kurt's wife Courtney Love had been taken into hospital for a drug overdose. Courtney after being released on bail checked herself into a drug rehab centre, but left soon after she had got a phone call from her friend telling her the tragic news about her husband. |

| Kurt's body was found by an electrican visting the house to install a security system. When no-one answerd the front door the electrican went around the back and started to peer through the windows. He noticed what he thought was a mannequin sprawled out on the floor, until he noticed a splotch of blood by Kurt's ear. When the police broke down the door, they found Kurt dead on the floor, a shotgun still pointed at his chin and near to his body a suicide note written in red ink addressed to Courtney and their baby daughter Frances, who was only 19 months old at the time. |
