Bio: Dubbed “more plague than man,” Pestilence is a brutal, bloodthirsty wrestler, but he wasn’t always that way. When he began his career, he was Paul Convict, decorated amateur wrestler, Owen Hart fan, and ace of the promising promotion PETW. He successfully defended the PETW title from the invading AZW force of Felon and El Chodo, but got conned out of the belt when the duo teamed up and failed to regain it. That, coupled by a crippling neck injury from El Chodo and a subsequent loss to the luchadore drove him over the edge. His style gained a focus previously lacked and Paul Convict became Pestilence. This ill-tempered masked man is almost unstoppable in the ring, blending wrestling styles from around the world and adding a spin of his own. Although he’s fond of power moves and graceful highflying, his most effective move would have to be the different types of mists that he can spit, the effects of which weaken or blind his opponents.
