Vehicle History: I have been
part of the MR2 community for a number of years. I've been dreaming of owning
one for about 6 years. I joined the MR2 mailing list about that time. About
3 years later is when I started the MR2 1/4 mile page. I have also attended
the SE2001 and SE2002 events, all this and not even owning an MR2. Well
at the beginning of the summer I had found an MR2 for a good price in Quebec
but failed to realize that it was an NA (I wanted a turbo, especially a
93). From that moment on I looked at the finances and forced them to accept
the purchase of my 2 :-) So after months of searching across North America
and after many many calls to every corner I finally found my current ride
in NY state. My wife and I drove
down to pick it up (about 8 hour drive) and proudly brought the new addition
to the family home :-) It didn't take long for the mileage to accumulate,
in the span of 2 weeks I put 3000 miles on the car and was due for an oil
change. Now, in the 2 months that I've owned it I have put a total of 115XX
miles on it and am almost due for my 3rd oil change... did I mention I love
my car :-)
