Greedy Texas Bastards: A story of anger beer and injury.

gtb began as a reaction to the stolen election of 2000. Aaron began writing songs even though he had not been playing with anyone since moving to oregon in 98'. Unless of course you count screaming while intoxicated with messiahmyass from from time to time whether they liked it or not. In march 2001 Aaron's band from Fargo called Fattass was in town visiting and played a reunion show at billy rays dive. Tim and steve witnessed the raw power and ineptitude of Aaron's musical prowess and despite any regard for reality decided to get together and practice a few times. The practices went well and shows followed. through up and d0wns gtb played along for a year. In June of 2002 they added another guitar player named zack. The sound was fuller and noisier. Great shows and shitty shows followed. the one constant was a series of drunken antics and injuries. Aaron broke his ankle right after a show and broke his thumb following another. zack showed up for one show half way through and played with his amp off for most of it. preparation and soberiety has never been our strongsuit. Anyway, after a great show in June of 2003 the band decided to take some time off and 10 months went by. The original lineup is now up and running again and energized from the break. good show s and hopefully less injury and liver damage is the future of gtb. oh by the way -- FUCK BUSH
