(written 4 am Friday... really its not just a veiled avail reference. And very drunk obviously)

Despite the calling of all world order and the eternal symbolism of the simplest part, as if I was riding the escalator for the first time at the drug store in Ada Minnesota or smelling the burning lubricant that barely keeps the ferris wheel spinning one must jump into the unknown with both feet.

Am I? Are you? Emabarrassed by the sad state of affairs which surrounds us? By the enormous blunder that is unfolding. I want to find a way out of the partisan clothes I have chosen. I would love to step back and look at things in the way another might. Yet, I am not prone to abilities which our brightest cannot reach, so I will rant and roll as if liscense were given for bullshit, and I am fully paid.

Why is asking questions unpatriotic? This countries real heroes were practicioners of the Socratic method. Jefferson, Lincoln, Madison ,Roosevelt, JFK, Carter. Even Reagan and Eisnhower were good at asking questions. Then why is this administration so quick to paint anyone who questions its policy as unpatriotic? Smells like Mcarthyism..

Why is the pursuit of knowledge elitist and how in the hell does that hurt policy?

Is there anyone else out there that burns for the day when our president thirsted for information? When decisions were made based on all available information and not despite of it. I want to understand why so much trust is given to an administration that was on duty when the worst attack in our history hit our homeland. Why, by virtue of having been at the switch when It happened is this the most qualified group to stop it in the future?

Oh by the way that country singin asshole and his simplistic boot in yer ass philosophy is exactly how we got to be the most hated nation on earth. Not saying we should pander to the world but how about a little humility mixed in with our wealth, privledge, and success. I am not angry with country music just those that do it like shit or write songs that only appeal to the basest. Lowest form of of yahoo-ity.
