      fans in Athens
JOE BOUCHARD was one of the original Blue Oyster Cult members. He joined the band in 1970 and took over the bass.He left the band in late '85 when he realized that BOC 's future was uncertain. Then he joined Bouchard Brothers with Albert Bouchard and in 1989 the DEADRINGER with Neal Smith,Dennis Dunaway and others. They released one CD.The next year he found the Cult Brothers. They recorded one demo only. After this he stayed away from the music business for several years to study music in Ithaca college and finally he became the "Dr.music" by taking the master in Music degree in middle 90s.In 1997 he rejoined the Cult Bros but under the name of X-Brothers.They released the CD "Solid citizens" and played live many times until he,Dennis Dunaway and Neal Smith joined again to perform BDS (original name was EYESCREAM) in 1999-2000.They finally released their first CD ("Back from hell") in summer 2001.After his BOC departure Joe prefers to be a guitarist (and plays some keyboards too) and a singer, instead of bass-player.Actually,he was a guitar player before BOC.
He has also appeared on many BRAIN SURGEONS recordings as special guest and has produced some LPs for other bands.
Before BOC he was playing to a jazz-band named Que Pasa.
