Hunting Reports

There are many reports of hunters shooting snow geese in the eastern half of the state.  Most of the snows are situated between Devils Lake to the ND-SD border.  The most succesful method for most hunters has been pass shooting.
The geese are moving north, so they might not be around for long.  I've also heard that the "worlds largest decoy spread" did not go up this weeekend due to lack of geese and sloppy field conditions.

The snow geese have moved into North Dakota!  The majority of geese reported have been in the south east part of the state.  There have been reports of hundreds of thousands of geese!  They have begun to move into the northern sections of the state too, but they're are not nearly as many as in the south east.  Sloughs have been opening this past week, and they should hold the geese!  Good Luck Hunting them snows!

The world's largest decoy spread is supposed to be set up this weekend in the south-eastern part of North Dakota.  It is estimated that there will be 10,000 decoys, 23 e-callers, and 40 people.  Hopefully they will have good luck along with everyone else, so we can get the snow goose population down.
