Deedlit is the daughter of Varik and a Domani noble woman, even as a young child, she was constantly causing mishief. A strong desire to learn anything she could about people and how to help them, burned in her even then. Seeing how much trouble she would get in to, her parents decided to send her up to Fal Dara, where she might see the horror of the world, from a safe distance, in the hopes she would wise up. However, once she heard of the Trollocs and Fades, she wanted to join the fight to slay them. So at the age of 11, she started sneaking out of fal dara to first watch and later even participate in the fighting of the trolloc hordes... She was garnering a notable reputation in killing off the shadow's hordes. As shown by her collection of scalps of the Trollocs and Fades. Known for her skill with her staff, her ever growing reputation was steadily scaring her family. In their concern for her safety they decided to have her vist her cousin Alandra in tar valon, for a good and long talking to. When she arrived, she was very excited in meeting a member of the White Tower, and wanted to share her adventures with someone. However, Alandra was more interested in her, then the numerous adventures. Finaly having Deedlit quiet for a moment, Alandra told her that she could channel. And that she was to stay in Tar Valon to hone her gift. At first, Deedlit was at first thrilled. But then she realized that it would keep her from her passion, fighting the shadow. Until Alandra showed her a few simple things she could do with the One Power, increasing her ability to hunt the shadow tenfold. Seeing this, she decided to train in the Tower and spoke with Sheriam Sedai, the Mistress of Novices.
Her studies in the Tower were extremly easy for her. She would always pick up, and sometimes improve on the teachings the first time around. So much so, that it got to the point where her teachers were giving her Accepted lessons as a Novice. And after just a short time as a Novice, she was raised to Accepted, thus being allowed to return to her persuit of raining death and destruction on the Shadow. Instilling fear deep in their hearts. Since attaining the rank of Full Aes Sedai, she has only improved upon her skills and abilities.
Whenever she is not with her husband Avery or her daughter Alandra, named after her cousin who had shown her the bright future she now fulfills, she spends her time in Tar Valon helping the Novices and Accepteds. On top of all this, she manages to retain her drive and skills that have been honed to a sharp edge against the Shadowspawn. |
