Sitting in the back seat listening to both Nick and AJ carry on a conversation about the upcoming tour left myself gasping for attention. Realizing that it was only business they were talking about, I simply laid my head back on the seat and sighed as to how awful this day turned out to be. To be lied to by your own father, then looking upon months of traveling around the world felt like hell. Never have I ever looked upon something so ridiculous in my life. As much as I wish, I wish I were to wake up in my own bed in the morning and this were all to be a bad dream. However, it’ll only turn up being reality when I wake up in someone else bed tomorrow morning with Sammy by my side. If only it could have been someone other than me that he wanted. What good is sitting here thinking about it how I wish I wasn’t here gonna pass the time by? Taking a deep breath then exhaling it, I closed my eyes still hearing the voices of both Nick and AJ, I thought about what happened before AJ woke me from my sleep. Remembering every word exchanged in my dream, the sight of whom I talked to still remained a mystery. However, why does this dream stand out from all the other’s I’ve had? The answer is beyond me. A thought of why I even had this kind of dream in the first place leaves me clueless. Why have a dream that won’t come true, but yet feels so real? If God would only allow me to know.

“Sammy, stop that!” I yelled as he began jumping on the owner of the other dog.
“ Don’t worry about it, it’s fine.” he said rubbing his tummy.
“ Looks like he likes you.” I smiled.
“ He sure does.”
“ That’s a first. He’s usually always so....so...”
“ Unfriendly?” he finished.
“ Yeah,” I stated. “ How did you know?”
“ Just a wild guess. Well actually that’s how my dog is.”
“ Really?” I questioned.
“ Looks can be deceiving.” he laughed. “ Appearance wise, he looks like a cute little dog who will run up to anyone with open arms, however deep down he’s a vicious little mutt.”
“ Looks like I’ve fooled then.”
“ Well look at it this way, there has to be SOMETHING good about you that he likes otherwise he probably would’ve attacked you.”
“ What he sees in me is beyond me.”
“ Maybe he sees what I see.”
“ And that would be?”
“ A sweet and charming beautiful young lady.”
“ Thanks.” I blushed.
“ Girls look there best when they blush.”
“ Oh you think so?”
“ With all my heart.”
“ Well,” I said looking at the ocean in front of me then back at him. “ That’s very sweet of you to say.”
“ It’s sweet enough to be taken as the truth as how I think of you. Sweet enough to look into your beautiful eyes and see the whole world.” he said leaning in to kiss me. “ Sweet enough to taste for the first time.

“ Hey sleepy head, wake up.” Whispered Nick.
“ Huh,” I groaned. “ Where am I?”
“ You’re at AJ’s house.”
“ What about my car?”
“ It’s out front.”
“ I can’t believe I was out that long.” I yawned.
“ Believe it, cause it was that long.”
“ How long?”
“ I’d say a good two hours.”
“ Oh my God,” I said jumping out of bed. “ Where’s Sammy?!”
“ No need to worry, I’ve already taken him out to do his thing.”
“ Thank you so much Nick.”
“ Not a problem.”
“ So is AJ already asleep?”
“ Yeah, he’s been out ever since we got back.”
“ Geeze, what time is it?”
“ Almost 2am.”
“ My goodness, I didn’t realize it was that late.”
“ What can I say? Time flies.”
“ Aint that the truth.” I said getting comfortable once more.
“ I guess, I’ll leave you to yourself and let you get some rest.”
“ Nah, it’s ok. I’m already awake anyways.”
“ Are you sure?”
“ Yeah, not unless you’re already tired.”
“ Who me? Not at all! You’re looking at the guy who can stay up all night long!”
“ Well you may tell me that, but your eyes tell me differently.” I laughed.
“ I can hold out, besides I got the whole plane ride to sleep.”
“ If you say so. Although I’m gonna be laughing at you if you fall asleep before me.”
“ There is no way that’ll happen.”
“ We’ll see.” I laughed
