“ What?” “ You.” “ How do you figure?” I questioned. “ There’s the magnificent sound of heaven given off by the ocean, the radiance of the sun hitting everything in sight.  Then there’s you who gives the world something to look forward to each and every day. “ “ That is very sweet of you to say,” I replied. “ I only state the truth that’s what makes it even better.” “ No one has ever said anything like that to me, and with it coming from you makes life worth living.” The world is an unbelievable place.  Through moments of happiness, it always seems to enhance every aspect of any given life.  I think about all the times in my life and mark this very day as being the best day of my life.  Summoned by what appears to be an angel from heaven whom assured me that I am someone important to not only him, but to the world as well.   Angels exist to those who believe in the heavenly word of God and only stay upon the angelic boundaries of heaven.  However, I chose to believe that the person before me is a gift from God.  Whether it is an angel, or simply another soul of his creation, sent to make me happy.   Looking into his luscious eyes I see a world that is beyond the world that I’m living in now.  A world filled with happiness and love provided by him.  His smile and laughter leads me to have faith in having him in my life forever.  By every gesture made by him, I find myself impatiently waiting for the next sweet thing uttered by him. “ Is this where you come when you want to be alone?” I asked. “ Yeah, it allows me to be peace with God and my surroundings.” “ Well you’ve picked a very beautiful place to do so.” “ I’d say so.” “ With me living here all my life, I’d think I’d get use to the ocean water here.  But seeing it now is like I’m seeing it for the first time.” “ That’s how I feel  also.” “ You know the feeling you get when seeing something like this?” I asked. “ It’s a wonderful feeling.” “ Yeah, but do you sometimes take that feeling and transfer it to another object whether it is human or not?” “ I actually seem to be going through that as we speak.” “ As am I.” “ For me, I look at the scenery and think it’s wonderful, then I look at you and find that the view doesn’t come close to your natural beauty.” “ That’s exactly what I’m feeling.” “ I barely know you Michelle, and it’s funny how a moment can just change your life with simply one smile you give.” “ Back when I was a child, I remember wishing upon a star for God to send me someone who will be able to love me for me.  Then as I grew older I began noticing that I received the opposite of what I wished for.  For years, I questioned God as to why he allowed situations such as those to interfere in my life when I knew that I deserved better.  There was just something about those individuals that I let in.  They all were drawn the same exact thing that I didn’t want them to be.  I wanted so much for each relationship to work out, but it just didn’t.  The word love didn’t even apply to them.  It was as if that was the last thing that they wanted.  But with you, even though I don’t know what exactly is going on between us, I feel so close to you.  As if I can talk to you about anything and you won’t judge me.  Everything about you seems so perfect, and I’m  just constantly waiting for you to do or say something wrong like everyone else.  Then again, I can’t see you doing that at all.”  “ I try to separate myself from every other guy out there.” “ I’ve noticed that.” “ You see that couple walking hand in hand together along the shore?” he asked. “ Yeah.” “ You think you could ever see us doing that?” “ As in dating?” “ Yeah.” he said. “ If the status between us remains the way it is now, then yes, I can see us one day committing to each other.” I added. “ That’s exactly how I see it.” “ Care to hear something out of the ordinary?” I asked. “ Sure.” “ I’ve never had a conversation last this long if the topic has to do with the meaning of love.  I usually find some way to get out of talking about it with anyone.” “ So why did you let yourself go this time?” he asked. “ Mainly because you give me a sense of comfort.” “ Comfort, huh?” “ Yeah.” “ Since you feel comfortable around me, then I need to get something off my chest.” “ Go right on ahead.” “From the moment that I saw you today, the way the wind brushed across your face enabling your hair to sway freely through the air, I caught a glimpse of you that I’ve never seen in any one else.  Your smile when you saw me brightened up  my whole day.  By your excitement as to seeing me was something that I’ve never had before.  Having someone actually wanna see me and spend time with me means a great deal to me.  The best thing about it is that it came from a lovely young woman that melted my  heart from the moment I first saw her.  It’s not easy saying how I feel, but I feel as if I should let you know.” he paused, “I think I’m falling in love with you Michelle.”
