She did not welcome marriage. Death relieved her of her first husband and she
convinced her second that they should live as brother and sister. This caused
him to release her after twelve years! She now lived as a nun in monastries
she founded. She died of Plauge. She is the patron saint of throat and neck
ailments and her festival is 23rd June.
