You write......
"The connection to these names is very slim, but it's the last line of
investigation open to the many LEE researchers investigating Greenberry LEE
of Alabama."

In my search for the parents of my Burrell Lee, born 1801-1810, I found the
following which includes information on a Green B. Lee of Al that you or
someone may can use.

This is from the 1840 Federal Census for Talladega County, AL

page 8 Francis Lee 0001000000000-0001000
page 9 Matthew Lee 1000100000000-1200100
page 9 John L. Lee 1200100000000-1200100
page 19 Burrell Lee 0000100000000-3100100
page 19 Mathias Lee 0001000100000-0041001
page 24 Moses A. Lee 0000100000000-1000010
page 34 Samuel H. Lee 2110010000000-0100010
page 38 Green B. Lee 1220010000000-1000100
page 40 Carrol Lee 0000100000000-1001000

It appears to me that Mathias is the father of the Lee families living next to
and near him. The information that follows are in my notes, but I can't recall
the source.
Mathias was born in Rutherford Co., NC and married Sarah Luckett on 4 Feb
1808.
Burrell was born in SC.
Matthew was born in Maury Co., TN
John's middle name is Lawson.
It appears that the migration path was NC>SC>TN>AL.

For anyone who doesn't have the code to the census, it is as follows:
under 5, 5-10, 10-15, 15-20, 20-30, 30-40, 40-50, 50-60, 60-70,
70-80,
80-90, 90-1000, over 100.

Does anyone have any more information on this line of Lee's?
