CHERRY DELIGHT
	Never mind that it sounds like the title of a movie that you wouldn't let your kids see. It's a great Christmas cookie, appealing to the eye, and easy to prepare.
					INGREDIENTS AND DIRECTIONS
		Cream 1 cup margarine or butter with 1/2 cup sugar. Stir in 1/2 cup light corn syrup. Add 1 egg yolk and 2 1/2 cups flour. Mix and chill. Roll into 1 inch balls. Dip in slightly beaten egg whites, roll in chopped nuts, press 1/2 cherry in center. Bake at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
