2 16oz. cans pears in heavy syrup, well drained 2 TBS pear brandy or orange flavored liqueur 1 TBS lemon juice 1 envelope unflavored gelatin 1/2 cup milk 1/3 cup confectioners sugar 1/2 cup heavy cream, whipped |

DIRECTIONS | |||||||||||||||||
In food processor or blender, puree pears. Stir in brandy and lemon juice, set aside. In small saucepan, sprinkle gelatin over milk. Let stand one minute. Stir over low heat 5 minutes or until gelatin is dissolved. Stir in sugar and pear mixture. Chill in large bowl, stirring occasionally, until mixture mounds slightly when dropped from a spoon. Fold in whipped cream. Spoon into dessert bowl or six dessert dishes. |
