Mrs. James Douglas Morrison,
|
Mrs. Morrison is hardcore. Honestly, that's the best way I can think to describe her. Widow of Jim Morrison (lead vocalist of The Doors), Mrs. Morrison once worked as an editor for Jazz & Pop in the 60's, and met the Lizard King early in 1969. She brought out the best in him, the Southern gentleman that wrote poetry and love letters. They married on Midsummer 1970 in a handfasting ceremony; Mrs. Morrison later re-created the event in Oliver Stone's 1991 film, The Doors. Jim passed on July 3, 1971, but Patricia soldiered on, becoming the author of the Keltiad novels ("Celts in space!"). Mrs. Morrison rocketh muchly because she has a sharp tongue (see her blog), a brilliant mind (member of Mensa) and a fierce soul (Priestess of the Celtic Pagan tradition). |
