ENGAGEMENTS
Travis Fisher, last seen in the Huntington Theatre Guild's production of
"The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged)," is engaged to
Susan Harley. Susan works at K&K insurance in the Sports division and
Travis teaches English at Homestead High School. They are planning a September
wedding.
Scott Graham (PHANTOM) proposed to Tracey Buckmaster (CAMELOT) on December
19th. Scott is an alarm technician at Central Security and Tracey works as a
director of Emmanuel Childcare Ministry. Their wedding date is August 19th.

AUDITIONS
The Fort Wayne Civic Theatre will hold auditions for THE SISTERS ROSENSWEIG
on April 1, starting at 2:00. Al Franklin seeks 4 women aged 17-54 and 4 men
aged 20-58. Auditioners will be seen in small groups and should be ready to
read a short scene aloud from the script. A limited number of scripts may be
borrowed from the theatre with a $10 deposit. Performances are Thursday, June 1

First Presbyterian Theatre will hold auditions for THE CURIOUS SAVAGE by
John Patrick at 7 p.m. March 6. Six women and five men ages 18 and older are
needed. Auditioners must be familiar with and read from the script. Performances

ICTL FESTIVAL
The Indiana Community Theatre League will sponsor the 2000 Indiana Community
Theatre Festival March 31, April 1 and 2, 2000. The festival is being hosted by
the Terre Haute Civic Theatre and will be in Terre Haute.
Included in the festival will be one-act performances of "Cemetery
Club, " "The Complete Works of Shakespeare (Abridged),"
"Sylvia," "Really Rosie," "Nunsense," "Bad
Year for Tomatoes," and an original production from Muncie Youth Theatre.
One of the adjudicators will be Michael Fortner, former director from the Fort
Wayne Civic Theatre.
CIVIC THEATRE PRESENTS "FOREVER PLAID"
The Fort Wayne Civic Theatre hopes to draw big crowds with its highly
successful revival of their November 1997 production of FOREVER PLAID. Starring
Greg Dostal, Scott Graham, and Tony Didier, and John Strachan, the musical will
run three weekends, from March 17 to April 2, 2000.
PULSE OPERA HOUSE TAKES "DAMES AT SEA" TO GERMANY
Cynthia Smyth-Wartzok is proud to announce the invitation of the Pulse Opera
House to the International Festival of Music-Theatre, which will be held in
Stuttgart-Kornwestheim, Germany, from July 5-9. The festival for Musicals,
Little Operas, Songplays, and Experimental Music-Theatre. The festival is
"an encounter dedicated to amateur, community and alternative
theaters." There will be 8 different international groups invited, with
the Pulse Opera House production of DAMES AT SEA representing the United
States.
HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE
Carroll High School's spring play will be a production of HARVEY, with a
one-act thriller, SORRY, WRONG NUMBER, preceding each performance. The dates
are Friday and Saturday, March 24 and 25 at 7:30 p.m. (6:45 for the one-act)
and Sunday, March 26 at 2:30pm (1:45 for the one-act).
