UPCOMING EVENTS AT EPI

Edwards Productions adds summer youth productions to their repertoire beginning this season. How to Eat Like a Child for children in kindergarten through 8th grade will run June 27 to 29, 2003, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Fort Wayne. On August 1 to 3, they will present a production of GREASE performed by 9th through 12th graders, also at Trinity UMC. Other productions this season include Tony 'n Tina's Wedding (February 2003); Love, Sex, and the IRS (March 2003); Working, the musical (May 2003); Das Barbecu, the western musical (September 2003); The Wales of August (October 2003), and The Sanders Family Christmas (December 2003).

EPI has also announced their 2004 season with dates to be announced. These productions include audience-participation show Murder Can be Habit Forming, the Jerry Herman musical Mack & Mabel, the Richard Harris play Stepping Out, Ron Clark's comedy Walley's Cafe, the Noah's Ark musical Two by Two, and the comedy Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, as well as two summer youth productions.

WELLS COMMUNITY THEATRE

Wells Community Theatre joins an ever-expanding area theatre base in northeastern Indiana. Directed by Kim Durr, the WCT has formed an alliance with the Embassy Theatre in Fort Wayne, bringing its community theatre productions to the big stage. The entire organization is run by volunteers, including Kim herself, who also donates her own money to the Life Center in Bluffton, where the group regularly performs. All profits go back into the theatre program. Last season's cast of JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT had a cast of over 100. Their 2003-2004 season includes The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (December 2002), Fiddler on the Roof (January & February 2003), and The King and I (June 2003).

Bower North Productions Presents
The Mistletoe Mystery, the latest Bower North Productions audience participation comedy-mystery, will run at Midtown Place at 127 W. Washington (downtown Fort Wayne, above the Thirsty Camel), on Friday, November 22, and Saturday, December 14. Director Ed Koczergo seeks a "funny butler" for this holiday
show. This actor must be available for immediate rehearsal with performances through December. Stage experience and audience participation ability is required. It is a paid position. Contact Larry Bower at (260) 447-8292.

FORT WAYNE GRADUATES IN "SIDE SHOW"

Three of Fort Wayne's recent high school graduates appear in the Ball State production of the musical Side Show. Included in the cast are Mike Brouwer (Homestead), Renee Gonzales (Bishop Luers), and Deontre' Martin (Harding), all of whom have appeared on Fort Wayne theatre stages. Side Show runs through this weekend, November 14, 15, and 16.

THESPIAN DISPLAYS ART

Ellen Campbell, formerly of Leo, is not only a talented singer and actress, but is an artist as well. Star of many productions at the Pulse Opera House in Warren, her newest project, beaded eggs and jewelry, appeared at the Holiday Art Fair show at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art.
