You can do some stuff anyway whether you have it or not, but if you get it, you can do LOTS of stuff! (My mom says it's pretty cheap!) Har Har!. Mom Says : Hi! You will see on the menu at right the buttons that will take you to instructions for various tricks. This page is meant to be a very basic primer for coding for a simple site. You can have a lot of fun with Dogster with just a little know-how.

When you go to a site to find a graphic for your page, you usually see a "code" which you can copy or paste. If you are aware of how this code works, you can alter it a bit, to be more creative. Also, sometimes you may find something - like a photo or a background - that comes without the code. This page will allow you to know how to whip up a code to go with it for your page.

For example, you may find an animated graphic, such as a barking dog. If you know a little HTML code, you can make the graphic appear in the center instead of to one side. With a little HTML knowledge you can put a link into the text on your page, or even change the color or size of your text.

These are all very little things, but taken together they allow you to dress things up. Plus, it's very fun when you know how it all works! - you will even be able to use your knowledge on other, non-Dogster pages you set up.
