The Bible charges and encourages believers to pray: Jesus instructed his disciples that "they should always pray and not faint or lose heart" (Luke 18:1). Paul instructs believers to pray without ceasing (1Th.5:17). The Bible is also clear on who we should pray for. Jesus says pray for those who despitefully use you, and James charges believers to pray for one another (Luke 6:28; James 5:16). Moreover, the Bible instructs believers not only how to pray but what to pray (Matthew 6:5-14). Just from these few important scriptures, one can see the importance the Bible placed on prayer.
I believe in prayer as the conduit of fellowship with God. I believe in the power and effacy of prayer which is essentially for daily maintenance of life. Here at Green Tree, we want to build the most effective house of prayer so that our partners may effectively nurture their fellowship with God, and with one another.
