ISRAEL TRIP
Dear Green Tree and Yavo friends:
You are invited to accompany me on our unique, Historical and Archaeological Study Seminar to Israel and Jordan June 20th thru July 4th, 2000.
As you know, my PhD is in Hebrew Studies, and my expertise is in Israel and the Middle East, with many, many years of guiding numerous study seminars to Israel, Jordan, Egypt, Turkey, Greece, Italy, and the islands of the Mediterranean. This is not an ordinary Israel tour or pilgrimage, as those of you who have been with me before know. Coupled with outstanding biblical sites, this tour is, rather, an in-depth, historical and archeological study program for the discriminating traveler who desires more than a religious pilgrimage.
I will be personally guiding the tour, and you will have the opportuniy to visti many sites rarely seen by the ordinary tourist. This is a 14-day programs, with departure from JFK, New York City, on June 20th, and return from Tel Aviv on July 4th to JFK.

6/23- Capernaum, Golan, The Good Fence, Dan, Hazor
6/24- Tiberias, Belvoir, Bet Shean, Megiddo, Nazareth
6/25- Cross over into Jordan, Jerash, Amman
6/26- Mt. Nebo, Madaba, Kerak, Petra
6/27- Wadi Rum, Aqaba, Eilat
6/28- Aravah, Avdat, Lakhish, Maresha, The Vale of Elah
6/29- Jerusalem
6/30- Jericho, Masada, Qumran, Ein Gedi
7/1-7/3 Jerusalem
7/4- Depart Tel Aviv for home
This is your opportunity to participate in an exceptional study-travel adventure that includes importnat biblical sites, both in Israel and Jordan. We must limit the number of participants to 50, as I can guide only one bus at a time. Participants will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.
The cost of the trip is 2850, which includes breakfast and dinner, first class hotels, twin-bedded rooms (a limited number of single rooms at an addditional cost of $650), and all transfers, plus porterage of two pieces of standard size luggage.
