THE SON OF MAN
The course "The Son of Man" will take the student back into the Second Temple period to study the Historical Jesus in a first Century Jewish setting. The recognition of Jesus as the self proclaimed Son of Man of Daniel 7:13 & 14 shocked the Jewish World of his day. This course will challenge present day thinkers to hear and understand the claims of Jesus in his role as Son of Man as his Jewish audience heard and understood him. This introductory course is a must for every student of the Bible. Everyone who endeavors to study Bibical literature must acquire a basic background knowledge before going on to more advance studies. Some Graduate level Seminaries will test all of their beginning students in order to determine how much basic bible know- ledge the student has. These so called proficiency tests that cover both the Old and New Testament will determine the student's course schedule. This New Testament Survey course will give the student the much needed basic foundation that will enable him or her to move on to more advance studies in the Hebrew Academy and in a college or university setting.
