Makana Loah

Ya got a name?   *A very pretty girl looks up at you, with dark, deep eyes.* Yeah. I'm Makana. Interesting, eh? Makana Loah.

Ah, that was an easy one. How bout a REAL name?   *A look of confusion comes over her face.* Makana Loah... That's what I just told you...

What about a nickname?   *She smiles.* Nope. I don't have a nickname. Just... a pet  name. Something my mother, and ONLY my mother, calls me. That's Lalua.

How'd ya get it?   What, my pet name? *She smiles.* Well, Lalua means 'Sunshine' in my native language, and my mother says that my smile is as bright as sunshine.

How old are ya?   *She smile gets brighter, and 'Lalua' stands through.* I'm 16. June 28th.

Whaddaya look like? *receives a 'look' from you* Just answer the question.   *She blushes and smiles shyly.* I don't know... I'm short... I've got long, dark hair... and dark eyes... *Makana is a beauty. Her skin is soft and fair, and her eyes are deep and dark, full of curiosity and wonder. Her smile is like sunshine, big and bright.*

I'm assuming you have a personality. What's it like?   *Pauses for a moment, then begins.* I'm... pretty friendly... I get along with just about everyone... I like to have fun, and live life to the fullest...  and i don't like to upset people.

Ya know your history?   *She frowns.* There's really not much to it. I was born in Greenwich Village, grew up in Greenwich Village, and will continue to live in Greenwich Village. *Makana grew up in a shabby boarding house with her mother, father, and three younger siblings.  Her father recently died, so she works as Newsie to support her family. Their home is small, so she moved into the LH, and visits her family every other day.*

M-hm. I see. Got any friends or relatives?   *Her smile comes back to her face.* Yeah. I've got my mother, and my two little sisters, Maia and Malia, 9 and 7. I also have my little brother, Mako. He's 12. As for friends... I don't have any. Yet, anyway.

You got a special someone?   *She scoffs.* Of course not! There's too much drama when your involved with someone. I'm not for that.

Anything else you wanna let us know?   *She smiles.* Nah, that's all.
