In learning about herb craft and healing, I started to realize that large cosmetic corporations and smaller "designer" skin care companies didn't have what I was looking for. I am different from day to day, and so are my skin and body's needs. That is why I started making my own products. When you see a bottle of herbal skin care lotion, take a look at how much is actually "herbal". Are the herbs organic? Wildcrafted? Or did they sit in a warehouse, getting hot and losing power to sunlight, only to be ground up and have as much healing power in your lotion as dried-up newspaper?

That is when I decided that I wanted the ingredients in my products to come straight from nature. What I can't get from my own garden I buy from the suppliers listed below who are certified organic and mostly wildcrafted. All the herbs are kept cool in light-safe foil bags. I don't use plastics since the chemicals can leach into the products. I also only buy domestic herbs, since imported herbs need to sit in a warehouse for a time before they can enter the country.

But most importantly to me, there is nothing pre-made on this web site. When you order something, I make it and immediately send it to you in amber glass jars to keep it safe from light. This gives me the flexibility to change ingredients for different needs. Feeling down? You might want lavender instead of chamomile essential oil in your oil. You choose your own product and care.

Finally, you will notice some items are seasonal. Part of getting close with nature and letting the Earth help you is to stay in season with Her. A cooling citrus face cleanser doesn't feel right in the middle of December, does it? So please let yourself feel the seasons and the cycles of nature, and what better way to start than from the outside in!
