This is the latest addition to the Dwelling... the Chatroom / RP Area. Here, you can chat with other visitors to the Dwelling, and, if you can get enough people to cooperate, could start an RP (role-playing) session in it. It is open at any time, so come in whenever you wish. There are a few things you should know when using this: 1) The chatroom is a Java applet, so if your browser does not support JavaScript, it won't work and you'll get a message saying that it won't load. If you're not sure, don't worry... most browsers support JavaScript. 2) To connect, you have to wait until the screen comes up (well, duh), then type in a screen name (first box). That will be your name forever as long as I have the chatroom, so make it good. You can also fill in the other boxes if you wish, but they aren't required to connect. 3) When you connect, simply type in what you wish to say, and all in the chatroom will hear you.
There are some other things you REALLY SHOULD KNOW: The most common problem you may encounter is the fact that the screen name you select doesn't work, and it says that that name requires a password. In ParaChat (the chatroom this is on), all members are in a big database, even though they may not be in the same chatroom. If that happens, just click connect and try another name. Also, names can only be one alphanumeric word... in english, a single word consisting only of letters of numbers. If you have any other questions, just click on the FAQ button on the chatroom.
