You walk up to the mouse. He is kind-looking, with a nicely fitting green tunic on and a pair of scones in one of his paws. He smiles at you and hands you one of the scones. "Greetings, kind chap," he says in a clear tenor voice, "and welcome t' Fort Haven. This is a brand new fort we here built, under the supervision of Raydin, th' badger lord of this jolly ol' place. Thank you for coming over here... it will be a pleasure to accomodate you."
He clears his throat before continuing. "Here at Fort Haven, you are always welcome to explore anywhere and everywhere, any time you wish. It would help, though, if you were a member. If you aren't one yet, you can go to Barrent over there to join. So, anyway, as I was saying a moment ago, you are free to explore anywhere you jolly well please. While you explore, new rooms or places may pop up that weren't there before. That's the work of Javelin, who's spending much of his time building more additions to this Haven dwelling of ours, bless 'is 'eart. Also, while you walk around, you may find places here an' there where a creature is in need of help or one needs an idea for something. Sometimes there's even a jolly war you could 'elp in. If you wish t' help, there will be a form you can fill out which we will promptly send to Javelin. He will look over all of the forms and, within a day or two, pick one that best solves the problem, or 'scenario', as 'e calls it, and award a prize to th' winner. It may be big or small, depending on what rank you are currently at, how many objectives you've already completed, and the complexity of th' scenario."
The mouse stuffs a scone in his mouth and swallows it in one big gulp. "If there's anything else y' need t' know, I can ask 'im yer question. He'll then reply as soon as 'e can." Be sighs. "Well, hope that covered enough of yer questions. Thank you again!
